VOLUNTEER FOR CREDIT
Those volunteering for credit (school, military, awards, resume) will not sign up to be a volunteer through Volgistics and instead must first meet with FAPS Volunteer Coordinator, Kira to fill out paperwork and become familiar with the shelter and duties. Email Kira at volunteer@fapspet.org to schedule a time.
Volunteers ages 16-17 must bring a parent/guardian to meet with Kira to sign a waiver of liability.
VOLUNTEER HOURS
After meeting with Kira and signing your waiver of liability, you are free to volunteer for the following shifts:
Tuesday-Friday : 9:00a-12:00p & 1:00p-4:30p
Saturday: 9:00a-4:30p (minimum 3 hour shift)
Sunday/Monday: 8:00a-12:00p
When volunteering for credit, a staff member will check you in and out each shift at the front desk.
Volunteers must wear closed toed shoes, clothes you can get dirty, and a volunteer lanyard.
