GivingTuesday is a global day of generosity that takes place every year on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Here in Cumberland County, Cumberland Community Foundation (CCF) brings GivingTuesday to life by hosting a countywide campaign that benefits 82 local nonprofits, including FAPS.
Between November 24 at 9 a.m. and December 2 at 11:59 p.m., your gift to FAPS through CCF will be amplified by $500,000 in community matching funds, helping us provide food, shelter, medical care, and second chances to the dogs and cats who need us most.

WAYS TO GIVE:

Credit card – Give through the online catalog by clicking the Donate Now button coming November 24th at 9am.

Check – Write your check payable to "Cumberland Community Foundation" with "FAPS - GivingTuesday" in the memo.

Checks must be received by CCF no later than 11:59pm December 2nd.

Mail checks to CCF, PO Box 2345, Fayetteville, NC 28302

Drop off checks at CCF, 308 Green Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301 using the secure mail slot located on the front, street-facing side of the building.

Checks can be mailed starting November 1 (but won’t be processed until the campaign begins),

Donor Advised Fund (DAF) – Recommend a grant from your DAF to Cumberland Community Foundation (Tax ID 58-1406831) designated for “GivingTuesday – FAPS.”

Stock Gifts – CCF welcomes gifts of stocks or other marketable securities from any brokerage firm. Call (910)483-4449 or send an email to Gifts@CumberlandCF.Org for instructions.

IRA Gifts – Donors age 70½+ can make QCDs directly from their IRA.

It is helpful to inform CCF staff when you have an IRA gift on the way so that they can ensure prompt and accurate gift processing.

We recommend initiating this transaction as early as possible to ensure it is received by December 2 at 11:59 p.m.

IRA distributions may be received any time in November.
